Hitachi ABB Power Grids India won a $16.05 million order to help the Indian government’s goal of 100 per cent railway electrification and to reduce its carbon footprint.
Under the order, the Japanese-European entity will deliver its transformers to the government’s Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW), for the production of 400 passenger and freight locomotive engines.

It enables us to contribute further to India’s mission to advance the economy in a responsible manner.
