The UK-India Awards is an exclusive event celebrating the winning partnership between the UK and India with a star-studded cast of VIP guests, celebrated entertainers and influential figures from business and the public sphere. Now in its third year, the UK-India Awards 2019 promises another glamorous evening bringing together over 300 senior global leaders and changemakers from the world of business, technology, innovation, politics, diplomacy, media, arts & culture around the world. The UK-India Awards celebrates special talents and recognises individuals and organisations who use their worldwide influence to strengthen the countries’ bond, create a truly global partnership, and inspire the next generation of leaders.
Deborah D’Aubney is a lawyer by background. Deb joined Rolls-Royce in March 2013 and currently holds a senior leadership role heading a team of 200 people within the Group Business Services organisation.
Rt Hon. Patricia Hewitt is currently the chair of the Advisory Board for the Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development. She is the former Chair of the UK India Business Council and long-serving UK Cabinet Minister. She is also the recipient of the India Inc. Life Time Achievement Award at the UK India Awards 2017.
Gina Miller is a transparency campaigner and businesswoman, who co-founded the wealth management firm SCM Direct. More recently, Gina founded and ran End the Chaos, a campaign seeking to equip members of the public with clarity on the Brexit process, and Lead not Leave, a parliamentary initiative calling for revision of the UK’s terms of EU membership in line with the priorities of Leave voters.
